Well, they didn’t cast him as a character called The Mountain for nothing.
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays Cersei Lannister’s loyal henchman on Game of Thrones, has broken a massive deadlifting world record.
The star made his name originally as a professional strongman, and proved just how hench he was by lifting 1,041 pounds at the 2018 Arnold Strongman Competition.

The Night King needn’t have bothered tearing down the Wall with his ice dragon – he could’ve just recruited the Mountain to do the job for him.
The final season of Game of Thrones is due to land next year, and fans have been looking for endless clues (however tiny) as to what will occur.
Among them is a picture of Grey Worm actor Jacob Anderson hanging out with the likes of Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) in a pub in Ireland, hinting that he may have a bigger role to play next season.
There has also been speculation as to what Cersei will be getting up to after her nude body double from the walk of shame scene a few seasons back hinted that she was working on the show once again.
Game of Thrones returns to HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK in 2019.
